We come and look at it
In person, on your drive. We check the grade, what the roots have been doing and where a truck can actually stand, then leave a written figure with you. Free either way.
Permits, pour, clear up
We file with Engineering where the work touches the right-of-way, pick a week the weather suits, and take the broken concrete away with us. Give it a week before you park on it.
Before You Hire
The questions that separate two bids
- Ask how they are getting the truck in. Half the driveways here have a mature parkway tree and a neighbour's car on the other side. It decides the method and the price, and it is the question that separates a real site visit from a windscreen estimate.
- Ask what happens to the roots. An old drive that has lifted has usually been lifted by something, and pouring fresh concrete over it buys a few years at best. We would rather tell you that at the quote than come back for it.
- We pull the permit and meet the inspection. Anything in the public right-of-way goes through the Engineering Division, and the apron is in the right-of-way. Our paperwork, not your afternoon.
- Ask us for the insurance certificate. We will send it before you have finished asking. Nobody should be pouring on your property without one.
